Leaves vary in size from about palm sized up to holy cow ginormous size! I love painting wooden signs and also host workshops to DIY. I sew felted mittens from old wool sweaters. "Like" me to follow some of my current projects. I am always trying new things. I also take custom orders for everything that I make. Take a look around and enjoy!

💚💚💚 Last Saturday was truly an unforgettable Super Saturday! It's a time-honored tradition that empowers our Stephenson County 4-H youngsters to explore their passions. 🍀 I still cherish the memories of my own 4-H experiences. Our kids get to choose from an array of exciting sessions, discovering new skills like flower arranging, basic cooking treats, woodworking, leather stamping, and so much more. Even my mini got to join in on the fun with the Cloverbud group this year!
I was honored to lead a session once again, designing a workshop that transformed upcycled books into breathtaking works of art. With roughly 10 projects to choose from, I guided them through the creative process. They crafted book bouquets, paper flowers, ornaments, and Christmas trees. Although our sessions were only 45 minutes long, I'm confident that they left with the inspiration and skills to continue creating their own book art masterpieces at home!

It’s crappy out 🌧️ so we decided to load up some crafty crap and head up to the farm shop to hang out with the hubby. I'm guessing you've figured out by now that I'm one of those ADHD folks with a gazillion ideas but the attention span of a goldfish. I'm talking I'll prep all the materials and everything. Today I decided to actually start something. I was hoping my mini-me would keep herself busy with all the activities we've got stashed in the shop. Yeah, that didn't last long and she needed to 'help' me.

Well let me hook you up affordably! I’ve made stones that are ready to paint. 🎨 2 stones for $1. Mix and match. I can’t guarantee your finished project will look like hers, but practice makes perfect. 🤩
P.S. Barb was my first grade teacher a long time ago. I’m sure some of her creative ideas rubbed off on me!

I'm over winter, bring on spring already! 🌸 Did you see we have a chance of snow this weekend?!?
I did manage to put up my Easter Peeps up this past weekend. 🐰 I made these little guys out of foam insulation board, so we'll see how they survive the spring winds and rain. Again, more new crafty crap. 🤣

Who is stopping out Saturday for my OG project, my concrete leaf castings?!?
I have been making leaf castings for 15 years! 😱 This is the project that started Sunny Hill Craft Company and now my mini likes to help make them too. There are so many shapes, sizes and colors because each leaf is cast from a real leaf and then hand painted. No two leaves will ever be exactly the same. My intended purpose in making these were for bird baths and garden art although I know many choose to decorate inside with them as centerpieces, jewelry dishes or just decor.
Stop Saturday and pick one out for yourself and one for a friend! These one of a kind pieces make great gifts for birthdays and Mother’s Day.
