Another great transformation completed by Loring Flooring using sheet vinyl — and this one came with a little unexpected twist along the way!

The store accidentally mismarked the measurements on the remnant piece our customer picked up, which meant we had to pivot once we got into the install. Instead of letting a small issue stop the project, we got creative and added a custom border detail that ended up giving the floor even more character and style. Honestly, the final result turned out better than we could have planned!

Situations like this are a good reminder that with flooring projects, small surprises can happen — but experience, problem solving, and communication make all the difference. We always do our best to adapt quickly, keep our customers informed, and make sure the finished product is something we’re proud to stand behind.

✨ Recent LVP Installation | Another Job Done Right ✨

We recently wrapped up a beautiful luxury vinyl plank (LVP) installation that truly shows why proper floor prep is the foundation of every successful job.

This project required a significant amount of prep work to ensure the finished floor not only looked great—but will perform the way it’s supposed to for years to come. In many homes, especially older ones, subfloors aren’t perfectly level, and taking the time to properly flatten and prepare the surface makes all the difference.

As with any contractor, an estimate is just that—an estimate. While we do everything we can to be as thorough and accurate as possible, sometimes unforeseen issues arise once we get into the project. Occasionally, the floor prep needed ends up being more extensive than originally anticipated.
