KEITH’S EXPANDS INTO CLOTHING — AND CUSTOMERS CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF THE $3 DEALS

FREMONT, CA — June 2025 — What started as a shop for antiques, collectibles, books, and gifts has grown into something even more unexpected: a destination for thrifty fashion finds. Keith’s, located in the heart of the Niles District, has seen an incredible rise in foot traffic and customer buzz, all thanks to a newly introduced $3 clothing section that’s become one of the store’s hottest features.

“A year ago, I would’ve laughed if you told me I’d be selling clothes,” said owner Keith Elrod. “But a new dealer brought in a small batch, and it just took off. Now customers come in asking about the $3 section before anything else.”

The curated selection of gently used clothing is updated weekly and includes a mix of casualwear, vintage pieces, and everyday staples. The pricing has prompted many double takes and delighted reactions.

“We hear it all the time,” Elrod shared. “‘Can this be right? Are these really just three dollars?’ The answer is yes—everything in that section is just three bucks.”

The addition of clothes complements Keith’s signature selection of antiques, collectibles, local photography, sports memorabilia, and unique gifts. With a loyal customer base and a growing number of first-time visitors discovering the store through word of mouth, Keith’s continues to reinvent what a local shop can offer.
