What an awesome night of painting, gabbing, laughing, eating, drinking and making merry at Brenda’s house in Blair. Some of these ladies doubted their abilities but surprised themselves! They turned out great!

I tell people all of the time that Prairie Hearth is the best kept secret in America. After 34 years of being a thriving craft store, it’s shocking how many people don’t know I’m here, even Fremont folks, and I’m just 3 miles south of town! But recently, (I’m told it has something to do with Facebook algorithms), we have had a sudden surge of first timers, and they are amazed to see a little store tucked away in the country with almost 100% handmade items and hand-painted treasures. If you are one of the folks that want to come out for the first time, the absolute best time would be our FALL OPEN HOUSE next week starting on Thursday the 27th from 10 AM to 7 PM, and continuing through Friday and Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM.  And we will have more than just pumpkins! Please share this post if you would for all of the folks out there that still don’t know about us!
