This weekend I hung out with some old friends I hadn’t seen in four years. Four years. It’s wild how fast time blazes by. We talked life. We talked heart break. We talked changes. As someone who’s uncomfortable baring the nitty gritty of our reality, being around my old tribe made me realize how important it is to portray ourselves in the truest manner. Rikki, Squirly-Shirley and I are the Stockroom Picks & Picked Floristry brand. I think we’ve tried to keep our brand polished and professional, as it should be. But I think sometimes it’s important for everyone to see the defeats, the stresses and the setbacks in addition to the triumphs. This Picker life ain’t always purdy pictures and punchy flowers. We argue and curse. We forget to brush our teeth and put our bras on inside-out.🤷🏻‍♀️ Majority of the time, we have a blast. We’re gonna uplift where we see fit. We’re gonna get a little more awkward with what we show you this year. Here’s to making 2019 a little more uncomfortable for you (and us) and getting to know us a little better. Hold on to your britches.
