Sarah gathers inspiration from many art forms: playing the cello, poetry (especially the works of Mary Oliver), old architecture and textiles, English cottage gardens, and traveling abroad. Sarah can often be found wandering through art galleries, exploring plant nurseries and botanical gardens, walking in the woods, and frolicking with friends in their gardens (with a cup of tea, of course). Sarah's intimate relationship with flora extends beyond the floral design realm and into the gardening and growing [micro] flower farming world. She offers a unique perspective on seasonality as a flower grower who treasures and tends to the cycle of each individual flower... from soil to seed, seedling to stem, bud to bloom, and life to death. Her flower arrangements are portals into whimsical and magical worlds that transcend time and space.
