Heiko Weiner - Wood Artist My goal is to create wooden bowls, vessels, sculptures, wall decor and other items that are decorative and functional.
(1)

Using multiple techniques, I combine wood, stone and acrylics. Each item is unique, original, and one of a kind. I enjoy creating wooden bowls and vessels that are decorative, as well as functional. A combination of segmented woodworking, inlay, marquetry and other techniques, allow me to create beautiful items with color and shape variations that are solely based on the natural appearance of wood. In addition, I often incorporate other materials such as stone, bone, and metal. The challenge of applying the very precise techniques required for this type of work is intriguing. Hence, each individual piece, regardless of size and complexity, is unique and one of a kind.
