You may have noticed I’ve been a little quiet over here! I’ve been wanting to post this for a while now, but haven’t quite figured out the timing.

Although I love the candle business, I have been feeling really deflated and burned out. I have always felt like I was more than just candles, and wanted to tap in on some more art I make. I originally started as a little side hobby, but lately it’s become something I love doing and want to focus on. I will STILL be making candles, just under a new name! Now I will be adding my entomology art, small taxidermy, butterfly/insect wing jewelry, and other weird art I make. It’s not ‘goodbye’ to Snake River Candle Co., it’s a ‘hello’ to a new passion and adventure. I will continue using this page for Wandering Sage Curiosities and dissolve the other.

You can still find my Snake River candles at and for now, but soon, it will all merge into Wandering Sage!
