A little snippet from a coaching call with one of my students inside À La Carte Made Easy.

We were talking about why smaller weddings can sometimes feel more demanding than larger ones. A lot of the time it has less to do with budget and more to do with the support built into the service. Many à la carte clients don’t have a full-service planner, so they naturally lean on their vendors throughout the planning process.

One of the biggest things I teach inside À La Carte Made Easy is that structure creates freedom. When you’re clear about what is included, how communication works, and where your role begins and ends, clients feel more supported and you’re less likely to feel overwhelmed. If your smaller weddings feel just as demanding as your larger ones, it may not be the client. It may be the structure surrounding the service.

This is exactly the kind of thing we work through inside the course and during the private coaching call that every student receives after completing the curriculum. If you’d like to learn more about joining this course, there’s a link in my bio. I’d love to have you.

For a long time I was turning down smaller weddings. Not because I didn’t want the work, but because I had no system to make them worth saying yes to.

I was treating every job the same. Same admin, same amount of energy, same me. And it was burning me out.

So I built a system. And everything changed. The second someone books I know exactly what I’m making. No chaos, no second guessing, no running back and forth.

I thought having that much structure would make the work feel less creative. It did the complete opposite. Structure didn’t kill my creativity. It gave it space to thrive.

And I turned everything I built into a course, Á La Carte Made Easy. Doors are open. Link in bio if you want in.

These clips are from my friends Chrissy and Sammy’s wedding last fall. I was 9 months pregnant, and it was my last wedding before my son, August, was born. This season of my life is exactly why the à la carte model works so well for me.

It’s grown alongside my full-service work and has allowed me to stay connected to more clients at a pace that actually fits my life right now…aka mom life.

Creating a semi-custom offering doesn’t take away from your full-service work. If anything, it gives you more freedom to choose the events you really want to take on. When you’re not winging it week to week, the admin side of your business can run more on autopilot so your energy can go where it actually matters.

Once you have an à la carte structure in place, it can grow with you through different seasons of your career, just like it has for me. I didn’t build this model just for my business, I built it for my life.

I’m opening registration to the public next week! If you’re on my email list, check your inbox 💌 you have early access. I’m only taking 20 students for this round, and there are 16 spots left.

I shared early access to my new course, À La Carte Made Easy, on a podcast I was on recently with Amy McGee | Botanical Brouhaha and a few spots have already been taken, which makes me so excited 🥹 So I figured I’d share a little more about what it actually is.

À La Carte Made Easy is the system I use for my à la carte orders. It covers how I decide what’s included and what’s not, how I price things so they’re actually profitable, how I keep smaller orders from taking over all my time, and how I communicate with clients so it doesn’t turn into endless back and forth.

It’s really all the things I had to figure out the hard way over the years. And honestly, this kind of structure matters even more in seasons where things feel a little slower or inconsistent. It gives you something solid to rely on instead of constantly guessing.

I’m keeping this spring session small (20 spots) since it includes a 1-hour private coaching call with me for each student.

I’m opening enrollment on April 14, if you want first access before it opens publicly, you can join the waitlist through the link in my bio.

I designed this cascade bouquet back in 2023 and it deserved a spot on the grid 🌿

I haven’t shared much about this lately because I’ve been working on it in the pockets of my day… after I get my boys to sleep, early mornings, in between events and full-time mom life. But I’ve been rebuilding À La Carte Made Easy as a self-paced course.

The way I run my business now is honestly really different than it used to be. I used to just figure everything out as I went, say yes to things and then deal with it later, overwork the smaller jobs, and kind of hope it all worked out in the end 😅

Now things feel a lot more clear. I know what I’m charging, I know what’s included, and I have a process that actually supports how I want to work.
That shift didn’t come from booking more clients like I thought it would. It came from finally building a system that made sense for me.

That’s what this course is.

The spring session will also include a 1-hour coaching call after you finish so we can actually implement what you learned and apply it to your business.

The course is available to 20 students on April 14!

Waitlist is in my bio if you want in.

Most florists aren’t struggling because they’re not talented. They’re struggling because they’re treating every job like it’s a Ferrari.

And it’s exhausting.

Not every client needs:
– unlimited revisions
– constant communication
– a full-service experience

Some clients just need something beautiful, done well, and done efficiently.

Those are your Toyotas.

And when you don’t have a system for them? They become the jobs that drain you the most.

This is the shift that changed everything for me:

I stopped trying to turn every inquiry into a luxury experience and started building a structure that actually supported both.

That’s what À La Carte Made Easy is built on.

A system that protects your energy, your time, and your profit. If you’ve been winging it and feeling burned out… this is your sign.

Life has been full and the most beautiful, and exhausting ways lately.

I’ve been a little quieter than usual over here, but still managed to pop into the studio for this beautiful mock up meeting for a full service event we have early next month. I’ve had these images sitting in my drafts waiting to be shared.

Slowly finding my way back to the space. Glad to be here.

More coming soon, including something I’ve been working on for awhile that I’m really excited to share with you.
