Is she not the cutest thing you’ve seen? This little gal is being optimized for function while keeping all of her 1942 charm. It’s amazing how much simple (simple?) cleanup and tree trimming makes a difference! Next up are new roof, windows, and dormers. She’s going to sparkle! ✨🏡

This biggest decision I have to make right now (like right now) is whether or not to keep the original windows on the project house. Being a preservationist, my preference is absolutely to keep them, BUT it would be at the cost of efficiency. Pretty much every window is a custom size, so the cost to replace them with efficient, modern windows is high. However, the cost to repair the existing windows and rebuild the frames could be higher! What to do?!?! 😣 If you were a potential buyer, or if you’re one of my realtor friends out there, what would you prefer?
