One of the things I love most about being an interior designer is helping people see possibilities when all they can see is the damage.
This Beach house Airbnb had been left in rough shape by previous tenants, and my client needed a quick turnaround with limited resources and not many shopping options in the area. Using creativity, a little problem-solving, and making the most of what we had to work with, we transformed the space into something warm, inviting, and ready to welcome guests again.
The best part? When my client and her husband walked through the door, they both cried. Those moments are worth more than any beautiful room or perfectly styled photo.
It’s never just about furniture and décor. It’s about creating spaces that bring people joy, comfort, and sometimes even a fresh start. That’s why I love what I do.�

One of my favorite parts of the design process is watching all the layers come together. ✨

This dining room transformation was all about creating warmth, texture, and timeless elegance. We added a rich textured wallpaper to bring depth and character to the space, paired with a custom-built cabinet featuring long hardware that adds just the right touch of sophistication.

The new light fixture was carefully selected to complement the room without competing with the beautiful cabinetry and wallpaper. To complete the space, we designed a custom dining table while keeping the homeowners' original chairs—proof that sometimes the most meaningful pieces are already there.

A perfect blend of old and new, creating a dining room that's both beautiful and inviting. 🤍

What a glow-up ✨

We took a plain kitchen wall and turned it into a moment with a custom tile focal wall—because boring walls are canceled. Added two elegant wall sconces and a glass chandelier, all on dimmers, to brighten the space and set the mood (soft dinner vibes or full-on cooking show lighting ✔️).

We also brought in a curio for extra storage and style, then layered in a mirror to bounce light around and make the room feel larger and more open. Mirrors = designer sorcery 🪄

And the foyer? A lush, richly colored runner adds warmth and drama, paired with a truly special, one-of-a-kind chandelier that sets the tone the second you walk in.

Brighter, warmer, and full of character—this home understood the assignment 💁‍♀️✨

This living room went from traditional to maximalist with just enough tradition to behave.

Vibrant colors, a rich wool rug, and luxe furnishings from Green Front (Raleigh) set the stage. The fireplace got a tile glow-up and a dark wall to bring the drama. Curtains warmed things up, and a statement chandelier from Lights Unlimited (Fuquay-Varina) brightened the space and showed off that gorgeous rug.

The leopard side table? Bold, unexpected, and very on-brand for my client—who smiled the second it came in. Every fabric was hand-selected to match her fun, electric personality.

A joyful project from start to finish—and a client who became a friend. This is why I love what I do 🖤🐆
