A little Living Stone Creative business update 🤍

If you’ve noticed a little less food around here lately, there’s a reason! As Living Stone Creative continues to grow, I decided my baking needed a space of its own.

Meet Selah & Serve - the home for all of my baked goods!

That’s where I’ll be sharing what’s fresh at the farm stand, where else you can find Selah & Serve baked goods locally, and the farms, shops, and other small businesses we’re blessed to partner with along the way.

Living Stone Creative isn’t going anywhere! This will continue to be my creative outlet and the home of my Christian lifestyle brand, where I share intentional homemaking, faith-based apparel, sourdough and from-scratch living, small business creativity, and all the things in between.

One of my favorite designs, and I’m so excited to finally get it out in front of more people. 🤍

There’s something extra special about faith-based apparel that lets us wear what we believe and maybe even start a conversation along the way.

I have a couple of vendor markets coming up in September, and this one will definitely be coming with me!

The Living Stone Creative table at Twice Told Treasures got another little upgrade and I am OBSESSED with how it’s all coming together. 🤍

Julia with Brush + Bobbin here on Facebook hand-painted this custom banner for me and absolutely knocked it out of the park. She took my branding and turned it into something that feels so perfectly me and fits this little corner better than I could have imagined.

The table is stocked with a little bit of everything Living Stone Creative: faith-based apparel, totes, keychains, sourdough goodies, baked goods, gifts and more.

The not-so-glamorous side of sourdough.

Today’s behind-the-scenes at Living Stone Creative looks a lot like trays of sourdough starter smeared everywhere while it dehydrates.

It isn’t pretty, but dehydrated starter is one of my favorite ways to make sourdough more practical and accessible.

Once completely dried, it can be stored long term and rehydrated whenever you’re ready to build an active starter. It also makes a great backup in case something happens to the starter you’ve spent months or years caring for.

But it doesn’t stop there.

Once ground into a powder, dehydrated starter can be incorporated into pancake and waffle mixes, crackers, biscuits, pizza crust mixes, quick breads, and more. It’s one of the ways I’m learning to use more of what I already have and waste less in the kitchen.

Because from-scratch living isn't always a beautiful loaf cooling on the counter.

Sometimes it looks like sourdough smeared across a tray. 😂

The farm stand is BACK OUT and stocked for the rest of the week!

And yes, the Gluten Free Brown Butter Bliss Cookies are back! Brown butter, homemade toffee, chocolate chips, and flaky sea salt. 😍

My table at Twice Told Treasures got a little makeover over the weekend, and I am loving how it turned out! 🤍

I also added quite a few new items, so there is even more to browse while you're in the shop.

This is such an exciting collaboration 🤍 So thankful for the opportunity to have my baked goods at Twice Told Treasures! This week is extra special because I invited Hannah Lee Warren from Rise Up! Sourdough to share the space with me! We stocked the table fresh this morning with lots of homemade goodies and sourdough goodness for everyone to enjoy!
