A little about me:
I created this page to help sell the items I make. This is new to me and I have never tried to sell anything to anyone.
I grew up crafting with my mom and grandmothers and I love it. It is truly apart of who I am. I love sewing, painting, scrap booking and so much more.
I started sewing when I was a junior in high school. I started a new school in a new city where I knew only 2 people in my new school. I met a wonderful teacher Ms. Cannon who I just adored! She took me in and introduced me to the sewing machine on my first day. With my Grandma Betty's encouragement I made several pieces even getting paid to make dresses for Mrs. Cannons daughter and friends in college. For a long time I lost my want to sew and craft. I then started on a new path and found my love for crafting and sewing again.
I dug out my high school sewing machine and made a table runner for fun and then I made some baby doll clothing for my classroom.
When Covid hit I was stressed from my job and the fear of Covid so I found some material and started making a bib for a friend having a baby. My husband then bought me a new fancy machine and I started making more and more.
I am by no means a professional seamstress! I am learning as I go experimenting and watching you tube learning new things to do. I am reaching out and creating costumes, mermaid blankets, dresses and so much more.
I craft to help with stress and because it truly is what I love to do.
I enjoy making things for children as I have worked in childcare for over 28 years. I am looking for ways to expand what I can do. I would love for someone to help challenge me in making something for them.
