Aiken’s Makin’ is happening in just under 20 hours and it’s happening rain or shine!!! We hope you are as excited as we are!!

Exploring the possibilities of word inlay, we made this piece for my brother in law. Colored epoxy art. The frame is Sapele with Water Oak letters and a Mulberry sun.

We recently went to PA to visit family and I thought I'd make my mom and dad an upgraded sign. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of their old one but it was rough and weathered to say the least. I ended up making a matching sign for our house as well.
This started with the idea of "wouldn't it be cool if we could scroll cut letters of one kind of wood and then inlay it into a different piece". It's a very tedious process but we love how they came out. The main piece is Sapele, the letters and the sun in the sign are Mulberry, and the frame is made of Water Oak.
