F-Light | Florence Light Festival illuminates the streets of downtown Florence for an entire month. Since 2011, light games and projections color the facades of historical buildings. This annual festival allows Florentines and tourists to immerse themselves in a visual exhibition as they explore the illuminated city from December to January.

Firenze Smart, an in-house company of the Municipality of Florence responsible for managing the city’s public lighting, enriched the city nightscape through the donation of three new permanent lighting installations which included the David Monument in Piazzale Michelangelo.

6 CAPITAL 100 RGBW units were installed and configured in either medium or narrow optics with seamless light distribution and smooth color transition. We are honored to be a part of this cultural renovation.

The square profile of ORPHEO integrates easily into many forms of architecture with simple understated styling. The compact wall luminaire is suitable for exterior or interior applications and may be configured for single upward or downward emission, or combined up and down illumination.

Light sources may be RGBW, dynamic white, or static white in warm, neutral, or cool color temperatures. Optics include spot, narrow, medium, or wide beam distributions which may be mixed or matched for the up and down model to achieve unique visual effects and lighting performance tailored to the application. Control options include built-in standalone sequencing, master-satellite operation, or interfaced with external DMX control systems.
