This week changed our world — but not our strength. Charlee was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and while it’s a lot to learn, we’re already finding our rhythm one blood sugar check at a time. To every parent starting this journey: you’re not alone. 💙

Everyone, I (Charlee’s mom) wanted to update everyone, Charlee was admitted to the ER yesterday with diabetic ketoacidosis. This was a complete shock to everyone. She has been transferred to CHOA in Atlanta and diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. We have been learning all about our body and sugars and carbs and what a pancreas’ job is in the body. How to correct her high sugar readings with insulin, and how to dose her insulin based on the carbohydrates she eats at every meal. It’s been intimidating, scary and even while diving into this unknown as a family Charlee has been a CHAMP. We all hug each other a little bit tighter today 💜 We still have a long way to go and much to learn but we will do everything we can to keep everyone healthy and happy. We definitely didn’t expect this but we will take it in stride and continue to be greatful for all we do have together 💜 ✨

We took a little break because I (Charlee’s Mama) have been sick for several month including hospital stays, BUT I’m starting to feel better and we are back at it! X soon we will be doing more shows and we are starting to take orders again! Thank you all who support Charlee and her beautiful candles!
