Dear Potential Vendor,

My wife and I would like to take a moment to introduce ourselves to you. We met on Main Street in Galena, Illinois back in 1977, married in 1978, added to our family in 1979, and have been part of the Galena community ever since. In 2016 we moved EZ Sell USA from Dubuque, Iowa to Galena and opened our 10,000 square foot store selling on consignment for our clients. We have spent several years selling on eBay and retail from our location in Downtown Galena.

We are changing things up in 2025 and taking 1/3 of our store and building out 20 individual booths that we plan to rent to vendors that have unique and fun items to offer to our Galena customers.

The booths that will be 4 foot deep, 8 foot wide, with walls that are 8 foot high. Each booth will be constructed using prefinished 4x8 foot white peg board The top of each booth will be welded wire grate with a full open grid to allow light from our ceilings but more important for vendors to hang anything they want from the grid for sale to our guests. These booths will be under construction the 2nd or 3rd week of January and ready to rent on February 1st.

Each booth will be 32 square feet in size and will be open for each vendor to create their own retail space. Each booth will rent for $100.00 a month with payment being made by automatic withdrawal from your bank account on the 1st of every month. In addition to the monthly base rent a fee of 10% on every sale will be collected from all sales to cover accounting costs. Revenue will be paid to every vendor on the 15th of each month for the prior month. Vendors will be asked to stock, merchandise and maintain their own booths, they will not be required to work any hours but would be welcome to visit our store and be available to demonstrate or sell their products anytime they would like.

A little bit about our store in Galena we are open 7 days a week 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday, and Noon to 5:00 pm on Sunday’s. Our store currently has mostly Antiques, and collectables along with Jewelry and decorative floral as part of Big Bold and Classy my wife’s contribution to EZ Sell USA.

This is why I love Galena! Doing a large estate sale at 518 Summit St. just down past the old hospital, which is now our senior care facility. We’re open 8 to 5 on Friday and 8 to 5 on Saturday but someone wanted to shop earlier than that. They left me this note along with the five dollar bill. Honesty, integrity, and people that care about others makes Galena more than just a Wonderful place to visit, but also a great place to live. Thank you to my late night or early morning shopper.
