Looking forward to seeing everyone and all the friendly animals this sunday!

(((( FALL FESTIVAL POSTPONED )))) — FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR ANIMALS & EVERYONE ATTENDING

Like all of you, we have been carefully watching the weather forecast for this Sunday.

Until today, there was a good chance that the worst of the storm would stay out at sea or move north. Unfortunately, as of Friday, the forecast has changed significantly. We are now expecting a direct impact from this Nor’easter, with 50–60 mph winds and rain throughout the day.

With the possibility of falling trees, damaging winds, heavy rain, and extremely muddy conditions, we simply cannot take the chance of anyone—or any of our animals—getting hurt.

Safety must come first. ❤️🐾

🌧️ OUR FALL FESTIVAL IS POSTPONED ONE WEEK 🌧️

📅 NEW DATE: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4TH
⏰ 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

This is an incredibly difficult decision for us. Our Fall Festival is Funny Farm Rescue’s biggest fundraiser of the year, helping us pay our enormous feed and veterinary bills throughout the winter.

We have already spent thousands of dollars preparing for this weekend. Buses and rental golf carts have been reserved, police services arranged, porta-potties have already been delivered, animal food purchased, and so much more.

But some things are simply beyond our control, and the safety of our animals, volunteers, vendors, and visitors will always come first.

We are truly sorry to all of our wonderful vendors, volunteers, and supporters who have worked so hard and made plans to be here this Sunday.

❤️ Thank you for understanding, supporting us, and always being there for our animals.

We’ll see you October 4th! 🐴🐷🐐🐑🐓🐾
