DECORATED CROSSWALKS partially done at Front Street and Market Street in downtown Galva

Thank you for everyone who helped with painting the crosswalks!!! We had fun!

Both painted locations (and a few more being planned) help beautify downtown Galva. More details will be added to those stenciled patterns. We will also add welcoming taglines.

Congratulations again to Ellory Glaser for winning last year’s design competition for the decorated crosswalk, and for the winners of each categories including Melissa Halsall and Rochelle Appell

We will do more crosswalks inspired by your ideas!

Look for future announcements for more locations and themes celebrating Galva talents and features. Spoiler alert: bakery theme, transformers-inspired-turned-police-car-and-fire-truck, walk on the vines, and more.

description

Spending the afternoon thinking about how Carrara with Vintage Bronze would look in a White Oak filled room, how the warmth Travertine stone with Vintage or Antique Gold finishes reminds me of that Italianate-inspired farmhouse I drove by often - under the glistening sun, the Satin Nickel with the Glass trims, tiles, and the Mosaic bring texture and fun to mundane spaces, and yes - the hand painted Porcelain patterned tiles, white Quartzites, and Vintage finishes that make me feel good aging gracefully...

I should start writing a poem!
