I would like to sincerely thank everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday! 😊. I would also like to encourage everyone who can donate to the rescue efforts in North Carolina to please do so! My daughter lives not far from Ashville, and her best friends live in Ashville. I have joined Facebook groups that keep me posted on the situations of the hundreds of people that have devastated by the hurricane. I have read So Many Stories of death and destruction. People trying to trek through the unpassable roads only to witness the death of livestock, horses, family pets, and people. As this one poster said, “ I saw their faces “ 😢. I can’t even imagine how that feels. This person was able to call 211 to report what she had seen. The person on the other end of the call asked for the information and stated that they are dealing with other similar situation, and that they would get there as soon as they could. This just Absolutely Breaks my Heart!
