Back from our somewhat self imposed “accidental” social media hiatus… 👋

And yes, this is what we actually look like mid-project 😅

Hi, we’re Luis & Mitch—co-owners of Maison de Campagne.

We stage homes for a living… but what you don’t always see is everything that happens behind the scenes to get here.

✔️The early mornings.
✔️The warehouse runs.
✔️The heavy lifting.
✔️The last-minute swaps.
✔️The “this isn’t working, pivot NOW” moments.

And somehow… we still manage to smile through it all (even if we look a little disheveled by the end of the day).

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately because we’ve been BUSY doing what we love… and honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way. Sometimes it’s good to take a break.

To be recognized in this way, by peers, colleagues, and members of an industry we care so deeply about, is something we never take for granted.

When we started this journey back in 2008, our goal was simple: elevate the perception of home staging and show just how powerful it can be. Sherman Blvd in Galveston didn’t even give us time to post about it…

We staged it.
It went under contract.
It sold.

All before we could share the photos. ✨

But here’s the cherry on top: the buyers loved the staging so much that they purchased all of the furniture and décor in the home.

Do we love selling our staging inventory?Yes… and no.
Yes, because it means the staging did exactly what it was supposed to do — help buyers connect emotionally with the home.

And no, because now we have to replace everything. And while shopping sounds fun, sourcing inventory for staging involves a lot of planning, logistics, and strategy to keep our projects fresh and on brand.

What many people don’t realize is that more than 50% of our staging projects result in buyers asking to purchase the inventory or where they can buy the pieces.

That’s just one more way professional staging adds value.

A little quiet on here, but very busy behind the scenes.

Social media has felt heavy lately, so we took a step back, not because the spark was gone, but because sometimes you need space to refocus and create with intention.

January kicked off strong, February is already buzzing, and 2026 has been anything but slow around here. From planning and prepping, to installs, design decisions, and a lot of behind-the-scenes magic, we’ve been laying the groundwork for what’s shaping up to be a year of growth, rebirth, and real progress.

Feeling grateful, re-energized, and excited to share more of what we’ve been working on, this next chapter is just getting started.
