This is a soft, cozy window nook,perfect in a child’s room.
The built-in bench sits inside a recessed window alcove, topped with a blush-pink cushion that adds warmth and comfort. A mix of pillows—neutral textured squares and a standout heart-shaped accent in a muted purple—creates a layered, inviting look.
The windows are dressed with flat Roman shades in a delicate floral pattern, bringing in gentle color and a bit of playfulness while still keeping the palette light and airy. Overall, a charming, well-balanced nook comfortable, practical, and styled with just enough detail to feel special without being busy.

This nook feels like a little slice of storybook charm—cozy, tailored, and quietly elegant.
The curved banquette in a pin-striped cushion keeps the look light and refined, while the subtle piping gives it just enough structure to feel custom and intentional.The café curtains bring in a gentle botanical note, filtering sunlight through a soft green leaf motif that feels fresh and pastoral. Paired with the warm brass rods, they strike a perfect balance between casual and polished—functional privacy without sacrificing the view or daylight.

We did this elegant living room window dressed with two layers of drapery. The inner layer consists of white, semi-sheer curtains that span the entire window width and softly filter the light. In front of them, on each side, are fuller decorative drapery panels in a cream fabric with a bold blue botanical pattern. The drapery is hung on a brass or gold-tone rod with classic finials, mounted close to a crown-molding ceiling line for a polished, custom look.
