With all the near to sub-zero temps weve had recently, I was able to finally get to this 100+ year old family heirloom.

The customer brought it in in pretty bad shape. Every joint was loose. The bottom rockers were very badly cracked or broken and being held together with duct tape.

The original seat springs were gone so the owner opted to put in a solid platform seat. They will take it in their own to get a new seat upholstered.

I think it turned out pretty sharp.

This awesome set of celestial co****le boards will soon be off to their new home!

All of my co****le boards are built in a "Pro Style" design with prefinished ¾" maple ply and weigh about 15 lbs. each. They are also built to the specs of the American Co****le Association. All corners are rounded and sanded to 220 grit to help protect your bags from damage.

The vinyl graphics on this particular set did not have a clear laminate so they were finished with 3 coats of indoor/outdoor polyurethane.

This awesome little board was just picked up, on its way as a gift to the new owners.

It measures roughly 9"x20" overall and is made of solid walnut. It's outstanding feature is of course the deer silhouette antlers and custom laser engraving to make it personal.

I have just ONE MORE of these boards in the works waiting for its next owner.

I'll try and keep this short.

Back in 2019 my wife was bitten by a tick. That bite changed both of our lives forever. From that bite she was diagnosed by the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota as having Adult Onset of Stills Disease. Stills Disease is an autoimmune disease that she will carry and deal with for the rest of her life.

Last month I was contacted about donating a set of co****le boards. This person stated they would be for a charity fundraiser for a local woman named Tami. Who as it turns out that we are distant relatives.

Tami's diagnosis is general Myasthenia Gravis. It's a neuromuscular autoimmune disease. She suddenly got sick at the end of Oct 2023, and got her diagnosis on Nov 3, 2023. She was in Wichita until April 2024. She was able to come home, and she was either wheelchair bound or using a walker. Then September 5, 2024 she was back in Wichita. Currently she's on a ventilator and is doing physical therapy to come off the vent.

Hearing it was an autoimmune disease was enough for me to be more than happy to help this family out. Being a relative just solidified the deal.

If you are interested in helping out the benefit will be this weekend November 17th at the Holcomb Recreation building, 106 Wiley St., Holcomb, Ks. I was told tickets for the raffle are $10 each.

I sincerely hate to do this right before Christmas but I am stretched to the limit.

I need to close up shop for a few months to focus on projects at home.
