FYI for anyone in Mountain Home. I will be there for the next 10 days on a big job. If you need a measure for flooring now is the time to set it up as I will be in town so there will not be a trip charge. Well, we lost a damn good kid today. Worked for us over a year and a half. 19 years old now. Showed up every day, on time. Asked all the right questions, paid attention and applied his knowledge to the job at hand during the work day. Never complained and was loved by all of the other guys on and off the job. He had an opportunity to move to Australia. I told him to take it and kick ass there as he has been here. It's a shame because he was just hitting his stride as an installer. Him leaving is going to leave a pretty big hole here.

If you know anyone that wants to learn a trade and has the work ethic that this kid has PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send him our way.

Best of luck Jaden. I hope it doesn't work out for you in Australia so you can come back and take over this company. You are destined for greatness kid.

Idaho Floor Supply is looking for a carpet installer. We have one that has been with us over 6 years now but need another.
You must have many years of experience installing carpet. We are looking for a person that is a carpet installer NOT a person that can install carpet. ( I can change the head gasket on my car but I sure as hell am not a mechanic ) Get it? A carpet installer, with many years of experience. You must know how to run a stretcher with poles. You must know how to cut seams and seal them properly. You must be familiar with wool and pattern match carpets. You must be able to run a two or three person crew and get jobs completed in a timely manner with ZERO call backs. You must take pride in your trade and final product.
We do not want to have to train you.
We offer top pay, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick days, IRA match of 3%, Aflac and performance bonuses. Spread the word far and wide. We will consider out of state people. We will help with housing for the right person. This is a big ask as there are fewer and fewer qualified installers in the U.S. these days.
