Custom Order Spotlight! 🪵🤎

This custom barnwood bed was made a little while back for some truly great clients, and we’re still loving all the rustic farmhouse character it brings!

We’re actually building a bed very similar to this one in the wood shop right now. These are always such fun pieces to make because every board has its own unique character, knots, texture, and story.

There’s also a lot of detail that goes into making sure everything comes together just right—not only for a beautiful, one-of-a-kind look, but for a solid, comfortable night’s rest too.

Every piece of wood was reclaimed from old barns across Maine, giving each board—and now this door—a story to tell. There’s something special about bringing old wood back to life! 🌲🪵

Join us October 3 from 2 to 5 PM at our Barn Boards And More location in Gardner Maine for a hands-on DIY workshop where you’ll build your own rustic barn board bench using authentic reclaimed Maine wood.

We provide all materials and tools ..just bring your creativity. During the workshop, we’ll guide you step-by step and share tips and techniques for working with barnwood. No experience needed.

Each bench is made from reclaimed Maine barnwood, giving new life to historic materials while preserving the character and story of the wood.

Finished piece size (approx.):

18–24” long × 12–14” deep × 18” high

Workshop details:

• All materials included

• Space is limited – ticket required

• Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

You’ll leave with a sturdy, one-of-a-kind piece you built yourself.
