This happy customer came in for the first time this week. He and his wife were heading home to Vegas.
He’d seen a jug advertising his home town of Albany NY many years ago in another shop on another travel, and regretted he hadn’t purchased it.
“Keep you eyes open for another one,” he told his wife as they entered our front door. “You never know.”
“Like this one?” She answered, pointing at the first display case near the door. And, lo and behold, there sat his treasure!
That, and good old Bud McKenzie!

She’s back!
We aren’t going to let them get us down!
Our lovely vendor, Allyse, is determined to not fold due to thieves!

The Sheriff’s dept. is investigating, armed with photos…we appreciate their diligence and kindness.

Please come support her (all this happened in her first month with us!) and the rest of our local businesses all within 2 buildings side by side.

A bit sad today- a painful theft.

Cheshire consists of 50 local vendors, all very, very small businesses. Most are retirees who do this for a little extra income on the side and the fulfillment working with our wonderful community.

We work on a small margin, especially compared to box stores, but absolutely adore what we do.
We find amazing treasures and quality items that you can’t find everywhere.

And, such an amazing community that keeps us moving!

Cheshire is a long time (21 years) local business that houses fifty (!) separate mom and pop stores.

When people come in and rob us it hurts, not just financially, but as a community.

We appreciate the immediate response from the sheriff’s department and their commitment and dedication to solving this crime.

We love what we do and this won’t get us down. Please continue to support us and share with your friends.

Even though this has been a rare and painful event, we are touched by the response and please know we appreciate you all! ❤️

Unfortunately we suffered a display cabinet break- in on the upstairs mezzanine this morning. Some jewelry Was stolen. If anyone saw anything or any body that looked suspicious between 10:00 a.m. And noon today, we would appreciate you letting us know. DCSD HAS BEEN CALLED, and we are checking our security cameras.
