This homeowner reached out to us about repairing a very large gap in their hardwood floor. They had general gaps and crowning throughout their hardwood floor, but the really large gap is where the joists changed direction in their breakfast nook. We removed a strip of the 4” red oak and ripped a 5” red oak board to fill the gap. We then refinished their hardwood removing the crowning. Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do with the general gaps, but nonetheless the repair and newly refinished floors turned out great. The red oak floors were finished natural with 3 coats of Fabulon ‘s Super Satin oil-modified polyurethane. On to the next project!

Do you know what is under your carpet? Just this morning we removed the carpet and padding in this 20 year old house in Raleigh. We will be installing and finishing new 2 1/4” red oak hardwood flooring. Once the floors are complete you can sweep, vacuum and/or dust mop for a clean floor and not worry about all that dirt that is just filtering through your carpet.

Here’s pictures of a hardwood floor that we recently refinished. These 9 inch wide character white oak hardwood floors were installed by the homeowner. The homeowner was referred to us by his contractor (RWS Construction) whom we also work with. After several rounds of stain and finish samples, the homeowner decided on DuraSeal Medium Brown stain finished with three coats of Fabulon Satin Polyurethane. Beautiful Hardwood Floor!

We recently completed at project for L. A. Downey & Son, Inc. at Tower 7 Baja Mexican Grill on the Morehead Waterfront. This project threw us a curveball every chance it could and every time we knocked it out of the park. We matched the existing pine floors with new 6” southern yellow pine flooring. We even drilled and glued in 1/2” walnut pegs to match the existing flooring. We finished the pine floors with Fabulon Super Satin oil modified polyurethane. We are looking forward to docking up for a drink 🍹🛥️☀️👙

We just finished up this project that will soon be on the market in the Cary area. We removed the nasty carpet in the living room, dining room and family room. We added 2 1/4” Ten Oaks Pre-sealed select and better grade red oak hardwood flooring and weaved it into the existing hardwood flooring for a seamless look. We then refinished the old and new hardwood flooring. We stained them with DuraSeal’s Early American and applied three coats of Fabulon’s Super Satin oil-modified polyurethane. This customer should have no problem selling this home 🏡.
