A graduate of Emerson High School’s Class of 1979, he was known for his strong work ethic, love for family, and unwavering commitment to Christ. She served her patients with kindness, grace, and professionalism while earning associate degrees in Nursing and Business Administration. In Remembrance, of Warren “Tip” Tipton — a gifted vocalist, public servant, and beloved member of the Gary community.

On this past Wednesday June 11th, hundreds of people came to pay last respects in Gary, IN to a man for his incredible voice, warm spirit, and larger-than-life personality, Tip touched countless lives through music and service. He was a member of several renowned groups, including The Chi-Lites, and used his gift to bring comfort, joy, and inspiration wherever he went. Father of Freddie Gibbs, Christinae Hudson and Matthew Tipton.

A proud 1976 graduate of Lew Wallace High School and former Gary Police Officer, Warren dedicated his life to both entertaining and serving the community he loved.

Thank you family for entrusting us with the florals.🙏🏾
