The process of making Tomato Pudding. This tastes so good over your cooked greens and beans.
Recipe:
1 quart of your canned tomatoes (first photo)
1 3/4 c. Sugar
3 slices of bread or homemade biscuits
3 or 4 TBS butter
Salt and Pepper to taste
Mix tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper in a saucepan. Heat. Add crumbled bread and butter. Boil at least 5 minutes. I like to cook until bread is well mixed into mixture. Pour in baking dish and bake 30 minutes at 350.
