Relax….. that is such a difficult thing for me. I used to tell myself…..while working… I am relaxing I am resting. What I have come to realize is that in my upbringing if you were not “doing” you were not worthy. You should always be busy, doing something “productive “ all the time. That was my “Martha” season. In the more recent years (the past 10) I have grown and it’s ok to “rest” when you need to and it is actually disobeying if you do not. So take the time to rest quietly be still and listen for God to speak. Lay in the hammock let the winds blow across the porch enjoy the slower pace and relax. Pick the flowers, take a nap and rest in your Father’s presence. Hope everyone is having a great Sunday.
