Let’s play a guessing game! Which 4 oz candle do you think passed the wick tests? 👀

Wick testing is SO important. Our candles go through tons of testing and re-testing. Even when I think it’s okay to not test because of consistent good results, I get checked and the universe is like girl no you HAVE to!!! Because candle-making is a science, there are many variables that go into a good quality burn.

A wick tests consists of burning through the entire candle in 4 hour increments and making note of scent throw, flame size, any flickering, if it emits black soot, etc.

Here’s a look into the notes I took with each 4 hour burn for our Celestial Nectar candles✨☁️
