Shop Mechanics are responsible for repairing and maintaining various types of generators, industrial lighting equipment, and primarily servicing and repairing rental equipment, along with some customer owned equipment. Our products consist of light towers, explosion proof lighting, temporary power products, and generators.
We're looking for a motivated individual ready to join an expanding business into the Austin, TX area. We offer paid time off, health and dental, 401k, and competitive pay.
Education, Skills & Requirements:
-Our ideal mechanic has a minimum of 2-3 years experience in mechanically diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types equipment.
-Able to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical)
-Perform annual certifications and inspections
-Capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision
-Strong work ethics with a commitment to quality
-A history of safe work habits
-Maintains a great attitude toward work
-Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Preferred Experience:
-Factory, vocational, or mechanical training.
-History of working with different forms of lighting equipment, explosion proof lighting, and temporary power products.
-Electrical experience.
-A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with reliable transportation.
-Must have 2-3 years of mechanical experience.
