A message to all our loyal customers, new and old, near and far, who have helped make Crabapple Cove a successful shopping destination in Geneseo, IL since our opening in 1988.
We have consolidated all your favorite things with the inventory at our original store, Curious Cargo, (104 N. State St, downtown Geneseo).
Our feeling of sadness is overshadowed by the excitement of looking forward to even greater success by having only one location to best serve our wonderful clientele. We will strive to maintain the ambience and variety you are accustomed to. Hopefully, we will continue to very often hear ‘this is my favorite store,’ this store is such a happy place,’ I can always find something I ‘need’…
Times are changing—finding good employees is harder than ever, rising costs of shipping, supplies, and utilities, and the looming threat of tariffs effecting the goods we order, led us to this decision of consolidation. We felt we must do what it takes to continue offering you a great shopping experience.
