Glass, china, porcelain, stoneware, bone china, etc.; each one requires different drill bits, RPM’s, techniques, and a whole lot of patience.
This beautiful green piece had a 3mm raised kiln mark in the center of the back so the drill bit couldn’t drill straight through it.
Forty-five minutes later, we had one perfectly centered (and evenly placed) hole. All part of the learning process that allows me to work with beautiful dishes. ❤️❤️

These beauties were delivered today, both will be given as presents.
Bringing heirloom pieces back to life is one of my favorites! Those pieces that have been boxed up and often forgotten.
I also love when someone wants to repurpose BRAND new pieces to match their decor.
Even better when you can mix “Timeless Tiers with Current Classics.”
