I am so bummed that this didn't work out in the end. Once the glass was filled with wax, the marbling effect completely disappeared. I'm really happy that I tried this, and I want to see if there's other methods out there I can try to get this effect to stay intact!

The last marbling test! I used a really vibrant magenta dye for this last part and I loved it. I definitely felt more comfortable at this point and got a much cleaner marbling effect!

Now it's on to the next part... filling them with wax and seeing if the marbling stays intact.

The 2nd test was so much better! And I love the olive green color so much. I moved a lot quicker and was ready this time.

This marbling process completely surprised me! As my first attempt, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, but there's a lot to learn still. This was mostly for fun and to try something new, but I'm curious if any of you have every tried this!
