Before colors, there is an essential step (which always overlooked) in botanical dyeing — Scouring fabric. It remove waxes, oils and residues, so the natural fabrics, such as cotton, linen & silk can fully receive color and prints clearly.
Synthrapol is a professional textile detergent keeps residue and particles suspended in water, neutral pH, which are the big differences from laundry detergent.

A small step, but it makes a huge and visible difference— more even color, clearer prints and lasting results!!

Textile Meets Ceramics— 2026 Collection is now live in store 🌿

This year marks a meaningful milestone — nearly four years of collaboration with ceramic artist Amy James. What began as a shared appreciation for handcraft and natural materials has grown into an ongoing exchange of ideas, shapes, and color.

✨ Introducing a new Tableware section
Alongside Amy’s signature wheel-thrown mugs, we’re expanding into bowls and plates — thoughtfully made pieces designed to bring warmth and intention to everyday dining.
This collection brings together Amy’s earthy, balanced ceramics and my botanical dyed, patchwork textiles. Our work continues to echo one another — grounded in nature, shaped by process, and made to be lived with.
I’m very grateful for Amy’s influence over the years — her approach to form and glaze has quietly shaped my own color palettes and designs in more ways than I can count.

We hope this collection brings a sense of connection, calm, and beauty into your daily ritual!

✨ Step into the exhibition for the first time.
I’m deeply honored to be part of a juried exhibition —Women’s History Month Art Series at Birdhouse in Amesbury, showing alongside other incredibly talented local artists.
I believe, transformation is strength. Women carry the power to create, nurture, rebuild, and open new possibilities. In this BECOMING collection, layered botanical-dyed textiles become a reflection of that force—resilient, expressive, and self-defined. Rooted in earth and guided by hand, the work honors women who shape their own paths and continue rising into new forms.

✨ Join us for the opening reception on Sunday, March 8th from 5–7 pm. Visitors can vote for their favorite artwork at the reception, and voting will remain open throughout the month of March.
Come celebrate women, creativity, and the beautiful steps forward in our journeys. Hope to see you there!
