Brothers Grimm Woodworks All things Patriotic and Jesus. Creating "designs for life" to inspire, proclaim and comfort those in your home. Remember life before internet and cell phones?

Retiring from a YMCA Camping career that started in the late 70's and spanned 4 States (CA, AZ, MI & TX), I decided to pick up my woodworking tools again and "relaunch" The Brothers Grimm Woodworking venture that we started in the 90's when the kids were school age. That was us. Building by day, craft fairs on weekends, raising kids and Jan working to support the "habit"
In 1999 I went back to the 'Y' in AZ, then MI and now TX having worked with some very amazing people, addressing great challenges and celebrating victories along the way while the "tools" lay gathering dust.
2 things the last 50 have taught me: Never give up & never say Never! Enjoy the venture with Jan and me from our little homestead in TX with Blanch and the "girls".

“But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.””

Yup, we got a pumpkin on the porch and the AC blasting?

Fall has officially arrived in Texas! 🍂🎃

The pumpkins are out, the fall decorations are up, and everybody’s pretending it’s sweater weather.

Meanwhile, the AC is still running nonstop, the mosquitoes are still thriving, and you need a shower just from walking to the mailbox.

But hey, at least our iced pumpkin spice lattes are seasonal. 😂

Welcome to fall in Texas, where the only thing changing colors is my skin from a sunburn. ☀️
