(Part 3/3) Happy New Year to you all! There’s a lot of moving parts regarding next steps for Botany Buffet, but this is where I’m at today. I’m claiming 2026 to be my year of gratitude and intention. I am so grateful for everyone’s kindness, understanding, and grace as I’ve made this three-part post.

Listing posts for my liquidation sale will trickle in as I’m slowly able to parse through everything, take photos, and write descriptions. Thank you to everyone who has already reached out.

(Part 2/3) I’m liquidating (almost) all of my small business assets in 2026! In the same spirit of the propagated plant cuttings that started Botany Buffet, I’m taking “cuttings” of my small business assets and passing them along to new homes to allow them to grow beyond my ownership. As a person, I’ve began to grow in a different direction, where running a small business full-time no longer fits my vision.

I’m liquidating many of my assets in order to fund my higher education and resolve my business-related debts. Over the following weeks, I’ll be making listings to this account for items that were once useful to me in my entrepreneurial pursuits that I think are deserving of a second life. I plan to conduct the bulk of these sales through my social media channels, though I would love to do a pop-up if anybody in my local network is willing to host me on their property.

I listed some of the major assets that I intend to put up for sale. Please reach out to me if you see one that you are particularly interested in. I’m so grateful for all of the support I’ve received for Botany Buffet over the past three years. I hope that I’m able to pay it forward to the small business communities of the Greater Austin area, the Greater Houston area, and beyond.

(Part 1/3) Here are 5 hard truths that I’m ready to admit to myself. I’ve had to take a step back (okay, an entire lunge) from Botany Buffet this year and I’ve had time to reflect and gain some perspective. Writing this was a bit of a journaling activity for me, but I thought sharing it could possibly provide some insight to others.

This post is directed at myself and my experience alone. I will have a couple more posts like this leading up to the new year to give Botany Buffet a well-needed reset. Thank you all for your patience and support. I can’t wait to hear from you all!

You heard that right! My products will be featured and available for purchase at Root to Rise Plant Shop (AKA: Teal Sky Boutique) in Georgetown, Texas. You’ll be able to find my acrylic laser-cut plant accessories, wire art, and stickers there starting January 12th, 2025.

Root to Rise Plant Shop is transitioning into a local plant shop destination, featuring tropical houseplants, succulents, cactus, and so much more. In addition to featuring Botany Buffet’s products, they will have local small business creatives selling their items in the shop including pottery, 3D printed pots, a Hat Bar, apparel, handmade macrame, stained glass art, terrariums, vintage items, books, stickers, jewelry, and more.

Remember to be kind to yourselves! Plant care does not always equal self care. I personally downsized my collection this year because the plant care routine got too overwhelming. It doesn’t make you a bad plant parent to put yourself first. 🌿🫶🏼
