Today, we also hold space for the families left behind — especially the mothers raising children while carrying the loss of a hero. Gold Star families live with a sacrifice most of us will never fully understand, and their strength deserves to be remembered too.

To every mom navigating life after loss:
Your love, resilience, and courage do not go unseen.
May we never forget that freedom comes at a cost paid not only by those who served, but by the families who continue their legacy every single day.
