The details you never see…

It’s reviewing cabinet placement before installation. Confirming lighting and electrical locations. Discussing transitions between materials. Solving problems that arise on site. Coordinating with the general contractor and trades to make sure all of the pieces come together as intended.

These moments may never make it into the final photographs, but they’re an essential part of creating a well-designed space.

We are excited to share that our Hills Point Project has received a Bronze Award from Qualified Remodeler Magazine and is featured in their online September issue.

This expansive kitchen renovation was designed to reflect our clients’ deep rooted passion for food, cooking, and the joy of entertaining. As two professional chefs, they envisioned a larger space tailored to support their culinary craft with commercial grade capabilities and thoughtful, functional design.

We would like to thank Blanchard Building for bringing this design to life and Dwelling Photography for capturing this amazing space!

20 years. Countless kitchens. So many wonderful clients, projects, and memories.

For two decades, we’ve had the privilege of turning ideas into spaces that become the heart of our client’s homes-and we couldn’t have done it without the trust you’ve placed in us along the way.

To every client who invited us into your home, shared your vision, trusted our expertise, and allowed us to be part of such an important chapter; thank you. We are incredibly grateful for your business, your confidence in us, and every opportunity to create alongside you.

As we look back on 20 years, we’re especially proud of the kitchens and spaces we’ve created, the relationships we’ve built, and the community that has supported us throughout the journey.

Here’s to 20 years of Kitchens by Design- and to the next 20. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

Open shelving vs. wall cabinets

Open shelving can make a space feel lighter and more approachable, perfect for showcasing everyday pieces.

Wall cabinets provide essential storage and keep visual clutter at bay.

Our approach? We tailor the design to your lifestyle — how you cook, organize, and live in your space.

We love an open shelving moment.

We leaned all the way into this modern farmhouse moment – where classic charm gets a confident, colorful twist. The playful wallpaper brings personality and movement, while the vertical shiplap grounds the space with timeless texture. Finished with sleek black hardware for contrast, this room proves that even the smallest of spaces can make the biggest statement.
