Had the BEST time at the pour house last night for 90s Night Karaoke- shout out to Leah Bee Karaoke 🎤🎨 pairing up with Emerald Face & Makeup (myself)

One of my favorite things about face painting at bars is watching everyone let loose and stop caring about being judged. Suddenly, the adults want their faces painted just as much as the kids at my private events, and I LOVE that for us. 😂
There’s something so heartwarming about a room full of teenage dirtbags at heart, embracing the nostalgia, getting their faces painted, and walking away feeling themselves. 🖤
Life is too short not to have a little fun, so let your inner child out to play!

A release party for a lovely lady’s very first book. 🖤

I am so incredibly proud of Brooke and the journey she’s taken, and honestly, so blessed to have been able to play even a small part in it.

From creating the cover, to finding out I somehow inspired one of the main characters, to being the artist at her release party where I got to teach a painting class featuring a design curated specifically for her—I can’t even tell you how many times I caught myself welling up.

I need everyone to see this woman for the incredible creative soul that she is. Her story, her imagination, and the work she’s put into this deserve to be celebrated.

Preorders are available on Amazon, so go follow the links on her page and grab a copy! If we can get enough people behind her, she has a real shot at reaching bestseller status—and I would absolutely love to see that happen.

And I have to give some love to the person who has encouraged and supported so many of us along the way: Jason from Twist - South Side, my boss. He has continuously pushed us outside of our comfort zones and encouraged us to do more creatively.

Brooke even has her own little display in the studio, and she’s become one of our regulars—a part of our book club, our volunteer program, and now a very special part of this creative community.

All of this to say: what a beautiful night, and what a fantastic environment for all of us to celebrate in together.

Congratulations, Babe. You did the damn thing. 🖤📖🎨

HI ITS BEEN A WHILE HERES “LUNAS GARDEN”

PLEASE READ :)
If you asked where I’ve been… I’d probably just say elsewhere.
I dropped a YouTube video, shared my pretty lengthy announcement on here, and got a little quiet—but not without reason. This is a new chapter. A growth phase. Not perfect, not polished… just real. And you get to watch it all unfold.
I finally finished a painting I started two years ago.
I missed this more than I can explain.
There’s a full timelapse going live tonight at 6PM EST—under 10 minutes, easy to watch, and honestly… kind of mesmerizing.
This piece is called Luna’s Garden 🖤
Not for sale—but I am taking commissions inspired by it.
I started it, abandoned it, tucked it away… and then came back when I was ready. No plan this time—just feeling. Just creating.
It became a garden built for Luna—my first independent cat, my sweet girl. I kept imagining her favorite sun spots, the way she exists in a space, and thought… what would her own world look like?
This is that world.

Very long, very important Announcement.

I’m here.
I’m alive, and I’m healing.

I know it’s been a while since I’ve shown up consistently for the business.
Life gets in the way…
and sometimes, I get in my own way too.

I wanted to take a moment to reconnect with those of you who have supported my work over the last five years—truly, thank you for staying.

Somewhere in the middle of all of that time, my life changed drastically.
I suffered a severe concussion and had to walk away from a career I loved deeply.

But instead of slowing down, I kept pushing forward like nothing had changed.
Like I hadn’t changed.

I was raised to push through anything.
But what I didn’t realize then… was that I was actually supposed to pause.
To listen.
To rebuild.

My art—the one constant in my life—started changing too.
And I fought that for a long time.

It took me two years to understand that I don’t just create art…
I create because I am an artist.
And for a while, I lost that part of myself.

The world can be heavy enough as it is—
we don’t need to make it heavier by being hard on ourselves.

So this is me, showing up again.
Not the same, but more honest.

The business isn’t what it once was—and that’s okay.
It needs time, care, and quiet evolution.

As I move through that, I’ve started documenting the journey on YouTube:
Adventures to the In Between—a space where I’m finding my way back to life, to art, and everything in between.

I’m not closing any doors.
I’ll still be creating, still showing up, still sharing—
just slower, more intentional, and with my whole heart.

Thank you for being here… even when I wasn’t.

It’s time to show up.

If you wanna support, all you have to do is put this video on a loop… bonus points if you share it with your friends.
After what felt like hours of this tiny man running in circles, screaming, playing games, and trying to eat my paint, I finally picked him up and put him in air jail.
Two seconds later? He’s back on the loose… and running off with my ChapStick and screaming at me.
