🎉 ONE YEAR OF THE GOOD GRANDSON.
Today, The Good Grandson officially turns ONE.

One year ago, I took an idea built from 14 years of serving seniors and turned it into a business of my own.

The goal was simple: provide the kind of dependable, trustworthy help I’d want someone to provide for my own family.

A year later, that idea has become something much bigger than I could have built alone.

I’ve met incredible clients, worked alongside some great local professionals, learned a lot, made a few mistakes, and experienced firsthand just how much this community supports its small businesses.

And then, just before reaching this milestone, life threw me a pretty serious curveball — two broken heels, two surgeries, and a temporary stop to hands-on work.
But it didn’t stop The Good Grandson.

If anything, the downtime gave me a chance to put into words the values that have been behind this business from the beginning:

GRATITUDE.
RESPECT.
INTEGRITY.
TRUST.

GRIT, the values that hold this business together.

👕 TO CELEBRATE ONE YEAR, THE GOOD GRANDSON MERCHANDISE COLLECTION IS OFFICIALLY LIVE!

I wanted to create something that felt like more than contractor merch — something that represents Gig Harbor, local craftsmanship, and the brand we’re building.

SHOP THE COLLECTION:

With me still recovering and unable to return to hands-on work yet, every purchase directly helps support The Good Grandson while I get back on my feet.

For anyone who would rather support my recovery directly:

To everyone who has hired me, referred me, trusted me in your home, bought merchandise, donated, shared a post, checked in, or simply told someone about The Good Grandson — thank you.

Your support has meant tremendously more than I can put into words.

One year down.

Year two starts now. 💚
