Every space deserves to feel beautiful. Even the one holding your Costco snacks. šŸ˜‰

We had the absolute pleasure of furnishing and styling this client’s first home, so when they moved and asked us to do it all over again in their new house, getting that call was pretty special. šŸ¤

This time, we styled the entire home and got to take things one step further by organizing their pantry, too.

Because this is the stuff I LOVE about design. It’s not just about the rooms everyone sees. It’s about creating a home that feels thoughtful, functional, and beautiful in the places you use every single day.

A pantry that makes the morning rush easier. A place for the snacks, the baking supplies, the serving pieces, and yes, even the cereal dispensers.

Pretty AND practical will win me over every time.

And getting invited back to create home with the same family twice? That might be the best compliment of all. šŸ¤

Tell me: would an organized pantry like this change your life, or would your family destroy it within 48 hours? šŸ˜‚

I’ve been a little quieter around here lately… and honestly, it’s been for all the right reasons. šŸ¤

This summer has been full in the best way.

Between wrapping up incredible client projects, making what feels like a million decisions for our new build (we’re finally down to the last 6-8 weeks!), and soaking up every bit of summer with my girls, social media has naturally taken a back seat.

And I’m okay with that.

Because these are the seasons I know I’ll want to remember.

This week we’re headed off to our annual lake house trip (our favorite week of the entire summer), and after that, I’m looking forward to squeezing every last drop out of summer before backpacks, school lunches, and routines return.

Come fall, I’ll be back with so much to share—from client reveals to our new home finally coming to life and I honestly can’t wait 🤩

Until then, here’s one of my favorite guest bedrooms from our Lake Joy project. A room that feels exactly how I hope the rest of this summer does…

Calm. Collected. And just a little slower. šŸ¤

It’s funny how one day a room is just studs and drywall… and the next, you can finally see the vision coming together ✨

Cabinet + tile install always feels like a major turning point in any build or renovation.

There are still plenty of details left to finish, but seeing the cabinetry paired with these mosaic floors made me stop in my tracks. This laundry room has lived rent free in my head for so long, and now it’s slowly becoming real.

I have a feeling this might end up being one of my favorite rooms in the house. šŸ¤

Who’s ready to see it once the countertops, backsplash, and appliances are in? šŸ‘šŸ¼šŸ‘šŸ¼

A love letter to our first home šŸ’Œ

I’ve been looking back through old photos and it’s funny how differently I see this house now.

When we bought it, we weren’t even married yet. Renovating wasn’t even part of the plan… it became the next chapter after we brought our first daughter home and quickly realized we needed more space.

Somewhere between choosing paint colors, knocking down walls, and making hundreds of design decisions, something unexpected happened.

I found the career I was always meant to have.

This home didn’t just shape my design style — it shaped me.

It taught me to trust my instincts, to see potential where others saw outdated, and ultimately gave me the confidence to build Styled Out West.

We brought both of our girls home here. We celebrated birthdays, hosted countless family dinners, renovated room by room, and built a life that I’ll always be grateful for.

Looking back now, I can see how much I’ve evolved. How my style has changed. How I’ve changed.

But one thing never has: I’ve always believed home should be more than beautiful. It should be the backdrop for a life well lived.

Getting the opportunity to build our next home from the ground up feels like the biggest full-circle moment. And while I’m so excited for what’s ahead, this little house will always hold a piece of my heart.

Thank you for starting it all. Well always remember you šŸ¤

Love, me.

Lately I’ve been thinking about how incredibly grateful I am for this little corner of the internet.

We’re only about 120 people away from 4,000 of YOU and while I know it’s ā€œjust a number,ā€ it’s also thousands of real people who have chosen to follow along — and that feeling will never stop feeling surreal.

A few years ago, Styled Out West was just an idea. A dream I wasn’t entirely sure would work. Today, I get to wake up every day and do something I genuinely love—helping people create homes that make everyday life feel a little more beautiful, a little more functional, and a whole lot more like them.

I don’t take that for granted.

Whether you’ve been here from the beginning, recently found my page, hired us, shared our work with a friend, or simply cheered us on from afar… thank you. You’ve helped build something that means more to me than you’ll probably ever know.

So here’s my little favor to ask…

If Styled Out West has ever inspired you, taught you something, or made you dream a little bigger about your own home, would you share this post with a friend who might enjoy following along too?

Let’s see if we can welcome 120 more wonderful people into this community. šŸ¤

I’m so excited for what’s ahead. THANK YOU for being here 😘

Anyone can walk into an empty room. But a designer sees what it could become.

Swipe to see three blank walls in our future pantry and the designs I created for each one.

It’s one thing to choose finishes, but It’s another to imagine how they’ll all come together.

Because the hardest part of building or renovating isn’t choosing finishes. It’s believing in a vision you can’t see yet.

Thankfully, that’s kind of my favorite part. šŸ¤

Which wall is your fave!?

Every family deserves a home that works as hard as they do.

This kitchen is proof that thoughtful design isn’t just about making a space more beautiful…

It’s about creating a home that makes everyday life feel easier. A place where mornings feel calmer, conversations last a little longer, and everyone naturally gathers together.

That’s the kind of transformation we’ll choose every time. šŸ¤

Just a collection of beautiful moments from our past projects šŸ¤

Every one of these spaces holds a special place in our hearts. Because design is so much more than pretty furniture and beautiful finishes.

It’s about creating a home where the people who live there can thrive.

Behind every room is a story, a season of life, and a client who trusted us to help bring their vision to life.

We never take that responsibility for granted, and we’re so grateful to have played a small part in each one.

When you barely have 8-foot ceilings, a small hodgepodge space, and no idea how you’re ever going to make it what you want…

That’s when you call us šŸ“ž

This basement wasn’t lacking potential. It just needed a plan.

Our client found herself navigating an unexpected new chapter of life and wanted to create a space where she and her teenage son could spend time together, relax, and comfortably host friends.

The existing basement felt disconnected, lacked storage, and wasn’t making the most of its footprint. But instead of taking on a major renovation, we focused on solving the right problems.

We added custom built-in storage and a media wall, created additional seating with a new sectional and ottomans, incorporated a sofa table that comfortably seats four, and transformed the space through thoughtful furniture selections and styling.

The result is a room that feels larger, functions way better, and most importantly, supports the way this family lives today.

Because great design isn’t always about adding square footage.

Sometimes it’s about seeing the potential that’s already there. šŸ¤
