We tackled this classy guest bedroom last weekend. The goal was timeless, inviting, and fitting for the rest of this beautiful traditional home. It already had great bones. Now it feels warm, layered, and ready for guests.

Pro tip: don’t enlist me to help with the guest room… I may never leave.

We got to design a tween room for my twelve-year-old niece, and it was so much fun. She’s the oldest of four and quickly stepping into that in-between stage of feeling both playful and grown up, so the goal was to create a space that reflected that.

This room already had so much character with the exposed wood beams, so we leaned into the cozy charm while weaving in the greens and blues she loved. We layered in pattern, texture, and a hint of boho for a look that feels playful yet polished, with a timeless charm she can grow with.

Now she has a space to unwind, host little hangouts with friends, and make her own for years to come 🤍

A lot of people don’t get stuck because they lack taste, they just start in the wrong place.

Buying decor, swapping pieces, hoping it clicks.

But without a strong foundation, it won’t.

Start with the four things that drive your space:
wall color, furniture, rug, and curtains.

Then build from there.

We gave our boys what used to be our primary bedroom and now I kind of want it back 😂

This was one of my favorite recent projects. The goal was to make it feel fun, functional, and actually pulled together without spending a ton.

We kept it around a $600 budget and I’m really happy with how it came together.

I’ve casually done some projects for friends and family over the years and am looking to take on a few projects to expand on my portfolio.

If you’ve got a space that you wish felt finished, I’d love to help. Whether that’s locally or through a virtual room plan. Let's work together!

I made a huge mistake.

Our boys have a super unique room (it used to be the primary), but it needed more color.
After testing what felt like 5 million paint options… we finally found the right combo.

My only regret?
Not keeping this room for ourselves.

I’ve dreamed of our first snow in this house since we moved in.

To celebrate three years here (and to welcome the start of spring 🤪) we finally got our snow day.

It filled every one of our big windows and felt like we were living inside a snow globe.

Even better, we got to share it with our Texas cousins, which made it all the more special.

But now... let's bring on the warmer weather and longer days please. 🙏

This laundry room is still bringing me so much joy 🤍

There are so many details I love, but I keep coming back to the floors.

Painting the walls made a huge difference… but adding this pattern brought in so much more interest and depth. I’m obsessed with these WallPops peel-and-stick tiles, and this jade green is perfect for the space.

I was a little worried the rug might feel too pink or too feminine and not quite fit. But I couldn’t have been more wrong.

It adds the perfect contrast and softens the space in the best way.

And together, they’re quite the dynamic duo.

Here’s our updated laundry room, and I’m obsessed with how it turned out.

I’m honestly ready to pull up a chair and read a book in here because it feels so charming now.

It seemed a little silly to makeover our laundry room at first, but I might be the biggest advocate for it now.

Small spaces make it so much easier to see a full vision through. Your effort and budget go further, and the impact feels bigger.

Give me all the small space makeovers.

Time for a little laundry room refresh.

Turns out a tabletop, some green paint, and refusing to scrape a popcorn ceiling can go a long way.

Tiny space but I love the glow up.

When it’s winter in the PNW and the light filters in like this, you go outside.
Best decision of the day.
