BTS of a new build project in the mountains of Arizona! The client brought me in the middle of the project after a lot of decision fatigue. They wanted a redo with some areas of the home, including some bathroom tiles and backsplashes.

The vision is a traditional farmhouse with a mix of the Santa Fe style. I’d say very fitting for a home that overlooks the city of Gilbert and Queen Creek!

I’m very excited to show you more as we make progress :)

New builds with interior design is so much more than just “looking pretty.” Some more questions to consider:

- Will this design fit you in 1-2 years?
- Do you have the time to coordinate product ordering, delivery, and installation so the project gets done on time?
- Do you want to regularly communicate with the contractors, city inspectors, suppliers, architects, and electricians?
- Can you access lighting switches easily?
- Does this layout actually work for your lifestyle?
- Do you mind dusting often (open shelves) or do you not want to see anything (closed shelves)?

There are so many things to factor in, and the decision fatigue can drain your excitement. And the expensive mistakes are often ones that you didn’t know were one until it’s too late.

My job is to be the creative guide and give you perspectives you didn’t even know existed. I make sure I thoroughly communicate with every professional taking part in the project, so your home is going to fit your needs now AND the future, while still looking the way you want it.
