I finished this quilt before the wedding and has become one of my favorite.

There were so many different shirts and I had a lot of fun with all the different colors and designs. I just LOVE how this quilt turned out. I got to incorporate some unique patterns and shapes, For the back used a turquoises color and the design tied perfectly with the quilting. For the quilting, did an dessert theme design that just brought the quilts together and gave it an amazing finished.

I wish I had some quilts to post. In the last two weeks I married my best friend and shortly after rushed to the ER for my son to have an emergency brain surgery. God has been my strength in all this and I truly believe in miracles and power of prayer. He is doing well and recovering… quilt post will start coming again soon 🙂

We embraced a whole new adventure with T-shirt quilts made out of hockey jerseys! The size, material, logos/designs, and seam placement made this a unique challenge. It was also fun to learn a little of the sport of ice hockey and roller hockey, who know ice hockey was big in Arizona 😜
I made two quilts (queen and king size) for mom’s two boys that played. It was so cool to see all the different jerseys and their accomplishments (one made captain of the team 🙂). Most of all, it was nice to hear mom how proud she was of her kids and their hockey journey.

Ps. When making this quilt I learned there is an animal called bearcat 😜
