***. Spring 2025 Knitting Retreat ***
With designer and teacher Donna Kay
June 15, 16, 17 & 18
at The Newagen Seaside Inn in Boothbay Harbor/Southport, Maine

Enjoy the picturesque surroundings or explore Boothbay Harbor as you receive personalized instruction for the knitting project of your choice, including customizing for a perfect fit.

Donna Kay - Tree of Life Designs has selected a sweater from Chic Knits called the Mondo Cable Pullover or Shell by Bonne Marie Burns (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/mondo-cable-pulli, knit at 4.5 stitches to 1”).

Your choice of another sweater or shawl is certainly an option! I have several yarns in the shop to consider including Berroco Ultra Alpaca or Berroco Remix for 3 season wear. New this year is the option of working on something you have underway and want Donna’s help to move forward. Bring a couple of projects that need a little clarification!

While you are here, take advantage of what Boothbay Harbor and the Newagen have to offer! This year ANTIQUES ROADSHOW will be filming in Boothbay on June 18th at the Botanical Gardens. You may enter the sweepstakes for tickets (https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/roadshow/events/2025/boothbay-me/) to attend from now until March 24th. Go to Antiques Roadshow for more information.

The hotel has made numerous upgrades so your accommodations will be extra special, including complimentary buffet breakfast every morning. Enjoy lunch or dinner at their Pub (not included in price of retreat) or drive to Robinson’s Wharf for a fresh seafood dinner. Make sure you take advantage of the heated saltwater pool and the outside spaces to sit and relax or visit some of the quaint shops in Boothbay.

The retreat is limited to 12 students, Sunday to Wednesday, is $675.00 plus the cost of your room, lunches, dinners, and yarn. Bring your spirits of choice and anything else that will make you comfortable. There are no refunds or store credit.

We look forward to seeing you in at the Spring 2025 Knitting Retreat at the Newagen Seaside Inn. To sign up, please call me at (603) 528-4333 or message me at [email protected]. We hope to see you there!
