Cannot believe we are here already… hello, October 🧡

My personal challenge this month was to make October WITHOUT pumpkins. Every year I use pumpkins, and I felt like that was… too easy? Too predictable?

So I used these orange zinnias I grew (& strawflowers) and twisted the jasmine from my fence into handwritten letters instead.

We love a time-consuming creative challenge!

Tomorrow I’m off to France to assist Erin Gleeson with her watercolour retreat in the Loire Valley, which feels a little bit like a dream. Or maybe a lot like a dream. Cant wait! We will try to keep you updated in stories. 🇫🇷

Never too old. Never too late.

Found this sweet little seashell on the beach with a perfect (ly imperfect) circle in it. Took it on a walk and used it as a tiny viewfinder, because of course.

The perfect audio found me later.

I do believe this with my whole heart. A reminder to play today. 🌼

I have no idea how many shells I balanced but I know it was a lot! The rest is sticks, rocks and tanbark ❤️
