I spy 2 GCVA artists sled dogs! Great work Laughing Lupin Studios & Art by Hailey Morgan

The Sled Dogs of Downtown Art Walk begins today!

Now through March 12, visit any host location to pick up a map and set out to discover these locally crafted, one-of-a-kind works of art.

ADP is proud to support this Anchorage Mushing District initiative by donating the design and printing of the official Art Walk maps.

The deadline is fast approaching for our 2026 college scholarship!! Once again we are awarding 2 $2000 scholarahips - 1 each to a high school senior and a college student respectively. You do not have to be attending an art program in Alaska, but you do need to be an Alaskan resident.

Grab an application at the gallery or download from oir website - gcvagallery.org. We need them in hand (completed!) by March 1st. This is an amazing opportunity. Please spread the word.

In addition to the chance of being awarded the big prize, each applicant will be featured in our April gallery Scholarship show. (Those things look great on artist resumes!)

Please help us spread the word by sharing to your page, forwarding to a student you know, reminding your favorite art teacher or guidance counselor that this is a thing…! Help us help deserving budding artists!
