We shopped slabs for three projects this week. This is one of the most invigorating and exciting parts of the project, as clients start to grasp (even more) how the finished spaces will feel. It’s fun to watch people become mesmerized with a slab, especially one we never anticipated using. And although we go in with a game plan, material samples, an agenda, we also have a mentality of being willing to pivot if inspiration hits.
Our job is to figure out if we can use that material in the project successfully and if so, where is it best used. Changing things up when we get there is all part of the process and is what breathes new life into the project, while in the middle of construction.
These are a few of the slabs that got a big thumbs up from our clients and team this week.

Our client was not afraid of color, inspired by the art her grandma created (front and center) and open to a significant on-site redesign where we added a wood surround to make this home office feel even more intentional, beautiful and intriguing. When clients come to the table with trust and some of their own inspiration it is usually is a winning combo!

We had the most fun designing this home, but especially this kitchen. Working with this homeowner and extracting her inner design dreams was a super creative and fun process. Throughout the entire house there’s a mixing of modern and vintage, old and new, a subtle blending of styles and details that all lend themselves to the bigger picture of a home that is truly designed and built for ….them!
We designed this long dining table to fit the family, and all the extended family and friends, that seem to congregate here. built the table for us, it was our first time working together, but not the last, we were thrilled with the end result.

We have an incredible project underway on a peninsula , in Wisconsin, with protected land on the opposite side of the lake, ensuring a lifetime of green views and peaceful days at this lakehouse. never ceases to amaze us with their incredible vision for a home and we love designing the interiors alongside them. Also a win…building with . The collaboration with our team and clients is off the charts.
